Time bomb card

This was made for a challenge on Facebook, the theme was time or explosives i decided to choose both. Quite a fun card although i burnt  my finger heat embossing the twine, so FYI be careful with that. :-|

Horse with rider card.

Just a quick card from my kanban toppers. I love working with high quality but affordable products. First card i have made oriented around horses.

Handbag gift box

I thought it would be a lovely addition to this handbag gift bag, to add an actual handbag charm.
The shape was embossed on my ultimate pro, i can have hours of fun with my ultimate. I hope you like it as much as i enjoyed making it.

Minnie and mickey wedding card.

This is my entry into a dt call. The challenge set was to make a wedding card, for Jemimma and Stephen to the theme of Minnie and Mickey mouse. I love Disney so this was quite fun and I thought I should share what I came up with xxcatxx

Retro male birthday card

This was a very basic card made from an a6 tent fold card. I heat embossed one of my large stamps with retro male images on, i then mounted it on gold holographic miri  board before adding to the card. All that was left was the sentiment, i used happy birthday but it could be any occasion.

Missing Corner card

I made this card for my Mother in-law, this mothers day.
To do this I took a piece of A5 cardstock (half of A4) and folded it to create a A6 card. I then cut the corner off, I don't know why I thought to do this but it worked. when I covered it I took a piece of A6 paper and glued it on, then very carefully I cut with my knife for a clean cut, the excess. The excess was then  place inside the card, so that the lines matched up. All that was left then was embellishments and a sentiment on the inside.

Sympathy Easel Card

Kanban was used again in this card, as you can probably tell they are one of my favourites.
I cut two of the same shapes and then made a frame with it too, so three cuts four shapes in the end. I started by making the main focal point, to do this I covered the main die cut with a paper from my Kanban all occasions kit, and adding a topper which was mounted on some silver miri board, with a feather attached to the back.
I then inked the edges of my frame with a light covering  of red wine pigment ink, it gives a lovely off pink colour, I added three Aurora Borealis gems to two corners. This was then attached with foam pads to give added dimension.
To create the easel I scored with my ultimate pro, the other full die cut shape half way  and a quarter way, and folded these. I then placed some of the same backing paper from my all occasions on the base of my easel, and a sentiment from the same kit as my topper and paper, this was mounted on some silver miri card also. The main part of the card was then attached with red tape (super sticky) to the easel, this matches perfectly as they were the same shape.

Bookatrix

This was a commission I made for a wedding card.
The embellishments are from Kanban Crafts, I placed it in a acetate box so it was more of a keepsake than a card.
