Left of Centre challenge blog

Midway Reminder
Hi and welcome to another month over at Left of Centre Challenge Blog,
this month we would like to see your favourite die cuts.
Their are two great sponsors this month Ikes art and The stamping chef.
The image from The Stamping Chef and is called Bittersweet,
I thought it had a little hint of an Alice them to it but that's just me, either way its a great image I am sure you will agree with me.
The image from Ikes art is Honey, she does not look like she wants to be messed with at all does she?

We would love for you to come along and have a go at this challenge.

Also keep an eye on the challenge blog for the 1st anniversary challenge.
It's going to be great with lots of fabulous sponsors taking part.
So pop a party hat on and grab a slice of cake, we're going to be one after all.

our new little crafter

Hi again,
I have just realised this never posted earlier this month.

We would like to introduce our new arrival,
Thomas Steven Wilson-Dobbs
born 22/02/2014
Hopefully he will enjoy crafts as much as his mummy and sisters do.

Rugby cards

Hi all,
I made these easel cards for a challenge over on Mad crafters giggles on Facebook, I got both cards from a A4 sheet of card stock. The toppers are from a kanban kit I have. These are very simple to make and you can do as little or as much to them as you like

Pop up box card

Hi all,
I have found a new (to me) fold that I just love and would like to share with you all.
I found the tutorial on how to do this HERE, it is very easy to follow and you can do lots of different styles with it.

I wanted this one to be like a box of flowers you get from the florists, but without the hassle of having to feed and water the roses lol.
I wrote mum on mine but any sentiment could go on here really, and with a lot of hospitals not allowing flowers now this might be a good theme for a get well soon card.

I made this one for my Husbands valentines card, this was the first one I had made.
I kept this one quite simple as the red and silver miri cards, made the embellishments stand out.
The sentiment was heat embossed with glitter embossing powder.

I hope you give it a go as it is very simple and great fun.
They fold to fit in a flat envelope so no need to worry about making a box to fit.
